This is notable because as trustee of the estate, I had the additional obligation of being the fiduciary on behalf of my siblings and to ensure their interests were protected, specifically that the sale was equitable efficient, and market-competitive. From the initial meeting, it was clear that Janie was experienced, knowledgeable, creative and successful. There were many rough spots with this sale such as difficult potential buyers, clearing out of the house, problems with the house that needed repair, etc. Through all of these problems, Janie was in constant contact with me by email and telephone, helped me long-distance to locate appropriate technicians to repair and clean the house, called them to make sure appointments were made when necessary, and ensured that the house had many open houses and was widely advertised to attract buyers.
